
Francisco "Django" Bustamante won the 2012 Derby City Classic Fatboy 10-Ball Challenge at the Horeshoe Casino and Hotel in Elizabeth, Indiana.
Bustamante, the 2010 World 9-Ball Pool Champion beat American Steeve Moore, 15-5, in the finals to pocket the top purse of $12,000 (about P510,000).
The Hall of Famer "Django" trounced 2012 Derby City Classic Bank Champion John Morra of Canada, 15-5, in the semifinals to go up against Moore, who beats Filipino Alex Pagulayan 15-12.Django had a quick start leading 2-0 but a scratch on the 10-Ball on rack three, Moore had a chance to make 2-2. The match was still close at 4-3, before Bustamante rolled off nine straight games for comfortable 13-3 lead.The endgame score was 15-5 as Bustamante won the pot price of $12,000 and Moore had the runner-up price of $7,000.
